Which gave Barbara Outland a scare when the doctor told her she had gonorrhea as told in her Arnold and Me book. Turned out she was misdiagnosed and never had it.
She was faithful, Arnold was not. He eventually came clean and admitted to her after their breakup.

In reality that's all speculation. Wilt the Stilt's numbers were alot more believable.
Arnold's was an attention-whore from the beginning, huge ego craved publicity from day one, he was gonna get in front of as much media as possible with locally produced shows like this and various talk shows.
The unoriginal plan was to follow other BBs into hercules type movies. A good part of it was luck actually, the significant help of good producers first with Pumping then going from B movies like Conan to better movies like Terminator when a top unknown producing talent came his way. Those producers rescued him from obscurity.
