Actually i read an article about gladiator's nutrition in old rome. They ate a lot of beans and (cheap) meat to get huge.

As for Da Vinci: These are anatomical studies done on dead bodies. The skin is cut away to reveal the muscles.

Yes, i recall that they ate meat rarely, only when cheap meat was available. Didn't know about the barley, thanks for that.

This is art, Seva. These are examples of 'idealized' forms, most of them are sculptures. Nothing alien about them. You'd learn this in, say, Art 101. Pretty basic stuff.

Don't try to call on Sebastian's intellect, this would be like teaching a cow higher mathmatics.

I just read where they were "overweight vegetarians". Using the layer of fat for protection because their armor wasn't necessarily the greatest.

keep in mind food wasnt as plentiful as it is now.. no mcds, no fast food, and no fat ass americans.. alot of people back then were on calorie deficient diets.. not by choice but due to availability.. also they walked alot too.. no cars, they had faster metabolisms... lower bodyfats show more muscle.

Are there Aliens on our planet who look like this:

If not by your logic how did the artist imagine and sculpt this?
