John Rambo and/or Rocky Balboa should be on the list.  Rambo would grab Brad Pitt's Fight Club character and rip his throat out.

Bingo. When his comb-over is flipped right over and he kisses that ball with the rose in it when he's bowling Muson...priceless.

Speaking of bowling, how can you not list "the Jesus" from the Big Lebowski. John Turturro is brilliant in the role. Nobody fucks with the jesus.

Bowlers in staring roles are very under-appreciated.

I would have put Gibson's portrayal of William Wallace in that list.

Harvey Keitel's "Wolf" character from Pulp Fiction would have made it.

Benicio DelTorro in The Usual Suspects belongs in there.

How did Snake Blissken not make the list?

Will no one show any respect to Bill Murray's character in Ghostbusters?

Cripes, this list sucks.
'Cause the nominating application was sent to Snake Plissken's house by mistake, maybe?  ;)

This shameful list was apparently compiled by someone employed by "Empire" magazine. Anyone given that much power and influence that their writings are the subject of intense message board scrutiny are indeed public figures and are therefore subject to public scrutiny. The original author of that list must be made known and if the public so deems must be subjected to public embarrassment and ridicule even to the extent of being place in laughing stocks while fruit bounces about his or her head.

We're doing this for free while some arrogant halfwit was paid for that original list! That 'author' must never live it down. :(

Shaft, Jason Bourne (the antithesis to James Bond), Ron O'Neal as YoungBlood Priest in Superfly...Everybody knows the songs to Superfly...and Shaft...

Many times the character and soundtracks go hand in hand, and makes it Familiar. For instance, James Bond Theme song by John Barry...you know that is James bond by the song, as is Shaft and Superfly...

Fight Club was an awesome movie. Any real man knows this! It's a must see.

The thing is, Tyler Durden was actually two people in one character Brad Pitt and Ed Norton.

Sorry to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it.
