Title: What is the best intermediate WORKOUT

Any suggestion please! coz i am still choosing... i do split type i hit a muscle part on other days...i do it MWF... ::)

What type of workouts have you been doing and for how long?
Im just working out for the last six months, the first 5 months i do full body, later it just came to my mind to do it split...

On a serious note.  Your post reminded me of a past workout that I think was "intermediate."  I went from 212 to 232 over one summer.

I did the following:

Mon: chest and bis
Tues: legs
Wed: off
Thurs: back
Fri: shoulders and tris
Sat/Sun: off

I would do 3 exercises per bodypart - 3 sets per exercise.  I would pyramid down with the following rep scheme - 10,8, and finally 6.  The last set was to positive failure while the others were warm-ups/moderate weight.

The movements were very basic (e.g. squat, bench, deads). It was really a no-frills workout but it was a nice transition from full body workouts.

everyone is different, but a 3 or 4 day split would be best IMO. It all depends on your schedule and how well you can recover. Maybe
Day 1-Shoulders
Day 2-Legs
Rest
Day 3-Back,Biceps
Day 4-Chest, Triceps
Off
This is just an example there are a million different ones.

thanks KIMURA... i am now doing this kind of split, coz i have no time to do it 4 times a week...

alright nothing wrong with that... but keep the big lifts
