Cumulative Blood Volume Training (CBVT)

what do you think?
Legit or Bullsh*t?

Crait Titus used to do blood volume training. Look where it got him.

craig titus is training with the prison made leg press as we speak, he'll be back harder and stronger than ever.

I say bullshit. Muscletech needs to somehow get people who take their products to think they are working. If they push programs that emphasize getting big pumps, it will add to that perception that they are working, even though in reality it may not be increasing lean mass or strength.

There is no easy way out and I donīt see nothing revolutionary in that program.

Why not ask the getbig expert on Pump - Pumpster?

Go drink your own piss.
what is your problem?
seriously, I'll leave the piss drinking to you old man. You seem to need it.

I agree that his ankles are probably above his head, but I doubt it's on a leg press machine.

their studies are bullshit
-
their studies are bullshit
no, they use those 6 studies to prove certain points through out their article and the combined evidence proves their point.
-
no, they use those 6 studies to prove certain points through out their article and the combined evidence proves their point.
how would that work? ???
the lactic acid and things will build up in the muscle and it will run out of energy before it is fully worked.
Fatigue doesn't mean overload.
-
NOT bullshit
Just because they post some references does not mean any of the references actually test their theories. Kind of odd that not a single one is from this century either.
-
their studies are bullshit
Troll waits for everyone else's opinion before jumping on the bandwagon lol

no, they use those 6 studies to prove certain points through out their article and the combined evidence proves their point.
no thats all they got a bunch of shitty studies that are lame as hell
check out this one for example:
Exercise-induced muscle damage, repair, and adaptation in humans.
This study examined exercise-induced muscle damage, repair, and rapid adaptation. Eight college-age women performed three eccentric exercises of the forearm flexors. One arm performed 70 maximal contractions (70-MAX condition), and the other arm performed 24 maximal contractions (24-MAX) followed 2 wk later by 70 maximal contractions (70-MAX2). Criterion measures of serum creatine kinase, muscle soreness and pain, isometric strength, and muscle shortening were assessed before, immediately after, and for 5 days after each exercise. Significant changes in all criterion measures were found after the 70-MAX exercise with a slow recovery that was not complete by day 5 after exercise. The 24-MAX condition showed only small changes in the criterion measures. Changes in the criterion measures after the 70-MAX2 exercise were significantly smaller than those after the 70-MAX exercise. Results from this study, with regard to the ability of the muscle to adapt to exercise-induced damage, suggest that an adaptation takes place such that the muscle is more resistant to damage and any damage that does occur is repaired at a faster rate. It is also clear that a relatively small insult will produce this adaptation.
so to show how fuckn important the PUMP is to bodybuilders their reference is a study of EIGHT women doing 70 vs 24 forearm reps?!
give me a fuckn break.

no, go look at the points that they use the study to prove..
-
I don't see the muscletech program advocating 70 reps either, or for that matter even 24.
-
Troll waits for everyone else's opinion before jumping on the bandwagon lol
feel free to post NUMEROUS serious studies backing the importance of pump, you cant.
because youre full of shit and can never back what you say.
all you ever do is post retarded shit like "well try out what works for you" "variety might be good" and other general retarded "ive been training for 2 months"-advice.
-
no, go look at the points that they use the study to prove..
theyre full of shit and you throw references to studies around without even checking them out properly. i bet you spent quite a few pennies on cell-tech in your day. i can tell
-
it gets worse:
Fibroblast growth factor is stored in fiber extracellular matrix and plays a role in regulating muscle hypertrophy.
sounds good eh? notice the word "hypertrophy" bodybuilders recognize that word right?
lets check that study out shall we?
oops, whats this?
"Department of Zoology, University of California, Berkeley 94720."
A polyclonal antibody specific to bovine basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) localizes bFGF in the extracellular matrix of rat skeletal muscle fibers, where it is bound by the heparin-rich basal lamina.
thats right
we're talking RATS HERE PEOPLE!!!
halleulah
the pump-believers are now throwing in studies in RATS into the mix... to prove how essential PUMP is in training...

Most any program will work for a while. I think with your training age you should be doing powerlifting style training, or something like the program AST has. Cant remember what it is called off of the top of my heard.

post this jibber jabber on the training board

NOT bullshit
Taylor, if you look more closely at the topics of those studies, you will find that they apply to ANY weight training program.

Bluto, if you are aware how studies, you will find that rats are used EXTENSIVELY in studies with regards to the humans body and its reactions to ertainn compounds and stimulus'
