yes i tore it in march, and thanks it took a lot of work getting it back to "normal". It is still hard to go real heavy on deadlifts for fear of doing it again

Yeah, I tore mine around the same time you did. I just started doing deadlifts again like a month ago, still a little weary of them as well. I tore mine on preacher curls, will never do those again. Keep up the good work dude!

How much gear were you on when it tore? My buddy had a nasty pec tear earlier this year, it was on a cold day and didn't warm up all the way and was only on about 500mg of test. On the 6th rep doing 345 on the bench, snap. He's just now getting back from it.

believe it or not i was on absolutely nothing, just went real heavy and it just gave way, freaky incident but oh well.

I was clean as well, and had been for a while. I was dieted down pretty hard and was trying to use more weight than I should have in that condition. Thoroughly warmed up and stretched out, it can happen to anybody anytime. I've seen studies where bicep tears are pretty common in men age 30-35, even those who don't lift. So go figure?

Were you using a over under hand grip when u tore you're bi?... powerlifters tear bi's like that if they're not careful and go super heavy..can put way too much strain on the bi tendon (the arm the underhand grip).they use that grip because straps arn't allowed in compos.
try switch to both hand overhand grip (and use straps) when deadlifting -takes the bi's out of it..will feel strange at first but u'll get use to it.

as of right now nothing, still recovering from a distal bicep tear, but when i do biceps its either heavy heavy barbell curls or real high reps my bi's seem to respond to a good mix of both.

Ditto here...you look solid no doubt, very inspiring but 240 at most being you look fairly lean. But seriously, who cares...you are dedicated to a sport that most don't have the balls to commit to. It's paying off for you obviously, good job.
