Rightfully so, lol. Do you remember Shawn saying before the contest, "No disrespect to Vince (Taylor), but if I get beaten by a 40 year old guy, it's time for me to retire" and lo and behold, he got beaten by Vince cause he came in smooth? ;D

he was not smooth.. he was the same as always.. may be coz the judges of the arnold were not the same of the olympia..

Um No, he was nowhere near the condition he normally displayed in the Olympias. And of course, by smooth, I don't mean to imply Vince Goodrum-like-conditioning. He was actually heavier than usual (around 215 lb) and was holding a bit of water, which is why he placed below Vince Taylor (4th place). He still looks good, just not as good as he usually did.

Vince looked incredible at that show. Fux was 280 there, and won the worlds months before at 230lbs.

The synthol delts and biceps is so obvious in that pic of Wheeler.  In that one pic damn Shawn Ray looks fucking amazing!  The early to mid 90's were the pinnacle of pro bodybuilding for sure.

x3.  Competitors today look like shit.  Even looking at 2000 the competitors didn't look this bad.
