Title: Modafinil anyone?
Post by: DK II on December 09, 2008, 04:05:32 AM
"...modafinil ('Provigil', 'Alertec', 'Vigicer', 'Modalert', etc) is a memory-improving and mood-brightening psychostimulant. It enhances wakefulness and vigilance, but its pharmacological profile is notably different from the amphetamines, methylphenidate (Ritalin) or cocaine. Modafinil is less likely to cause jitteriness, anxiety, or excess locomotor activity - or lead to a hypersomnolent 'rebound effect' - than traditional stimulants. Subjectively, it feels smoother and cleaner than the amphetamines too. It may even be anxiolytic. The normal elimination half-life of modafinil in humans is between 12 - 15 hours. So it's worth fine-tuning one's dosage schedule accordingly.

Any thoughts on this stuff??

I feel like shit lately, overworked, unmotivated. I have to  think a lot in my job, and i could need a little help to stay focused and awake.

Funny....I just bought some of this with my supplies for my next cycle. I'm also gong to school part time.

This stuff is supposed to make you awake and alert like ephedrine and other stimulants, but with out the anxiety, jitterness, and negative side effects.

Plus it improves memory and the abiltity to concentrate..,.....so basicely if you have a big exam you can skip sleep for two days, and stuyd an extra 16 hours....and not feel a bit tired or crack out feeling from meth ;D

Everyone, and I mean everyone in Ivy leage schools, or med school use this along with adderal the a.d.d. medicine....

The effects of Modafinil sounds great (offcourse).

The problem is (I think) the sale's.

Where can it be bought? Is the U.S different from Europe?

Can it be bought without doctorsprescription?

Something that is far more effective than drugs, will permanently enhance your life and everything within it, and that you are actually supposed to ingest:

I have used a hundred or so tabs recently. I'm the type of guy who "needs" a nap in the early afternoon or I'm useless. Training after work is tough since I'm so tired. Modafinil is moderately effective for me. Not a miracle, I was still tired when I took it but got a small boost in wakefulness. The good thing about this drug is that it doesn't cause any euphoria and doesn't appear to be addictive at all. So it's not like Adderall, Ritalin, etc. It does cause a slight increase in irritability and 'wound up tight' feeling.

I used the Indian generics made by Sun Pharma. I've read that the Provigil is better but can't confirm.

No. Sun Pharmaceuticals (Indian pharm company) sells modafinil under the brand names Modalert and Modvigil plus maybe some others, can't remember.
