If you think you can write this here without a proper explanation of what "aminogen" is, i would say it's only hype.

Aminogen is a digestive enzyme that helps with the breakdown of protein.A couple of brands add it to their protein powder.
I currently use it(ON Pro Complex), but it's hard to say if it works at all.

digestive enzymes are not fully understood yet. i highly doubt there are enzymes available that survive the stomach acid and live in the guts for a long enough period.
The body produces enzymes by himself.

aminogen is a blend of digestive enzymes, the "theory" on digestive enzymes is this:
that the body can only absorb & use a percentage of the protein we eat at eat meal (some people say as low as 30-40%).
supposedly protein digestive enzymes help the body to absorb & use more protein from any given meal so that we can better build muscle/stop muscle breakdown/etc
I haven't come across much information on this topic so I hope that info helps

the percentage of protein that healthy individuals absorb is 98% IIRC. aminogen isnt necessary, but it might be helpful in a small way.
