Yes, I use them all the time. I've got a whole bunch of them. The best one I got was from a Freightliner dealer at a truck show. It holds a ton of stuff, and folds up really compact. At first it was hard to remember to bring them along, but now after purchased so many of them after having forgotten to bring them, ...I don't forget anymore. I just fold them up and throw them in my purse.

The city of Toronto just passed legislation scheduled to come into effect in February 2009, whereby shoppers will be charged an additional 5 cents per plastic bag at the grocery store. I think that will encourage more extensive use of Eco-friendly re-useable shopping bags.

i had to take a medical day, and i had called in.  Then went in search of a doctor that could see me immediatley.  The next day i come to work, still in ain but manageable and the boss said she thought i had quit and pulled a no call no show.  So even after i showed her my cell with when i called and told her everything, it was still pretty much a kiss off from her.  I later find out that 10 other people got fired and that she also found out that i was working with a friend in another office (same company) on an idea to increase the business and pitch it to the president.

i wasn't backstabbing her at all.  What my friend and I were doing was something she wasn't capable of doing.  He and i were trying to get them to form a division for housing sales and renting, since they already had cornered the apartment renting market.  He and I are both Realtors and she has no experience in selling, buyiing or marketing houses.  She only knows how to push apartments on people.  The company expressed an interest in this area before i started working there and we put a simple plan together and i think that she was felt threatened due to the fact that i was starting to do well in the company and that other people from other offices and the internet division were starting to know my name.

Were you asked by a "higher up" to put together this plan? Or did you take it upon yourself?

it was known that the compny wanted to do it internally.  However the higher ups, didn't know how to proceed with it and no one in the workplace was taking any initiative.  My friend brought it up with a higher up first and then i was brought in after the wheels were set in motion.

With delivery all over the country? :D

Meanwhile as for the shopping bags, I tend to reuse my expo bags on sample day at the grocery.  Nothing like a 4' x 4' bag full of hot samples

sorry Stella, but i don't think i an deliver country wide.  I was thinking more along the lines of a 5 mile area.  I live across from an office park and several luxury apartments as well as a mariott hotel.  so pretty easy to deliver there.
