Thanks for checking in with all of us girls...I've been stranded without power for a few days from an ice storm, and then I had to work for a few days, but I see that I haven't missed too much. ::)

We do have a fireplace...and a woodstove...and two generators... So we were in pretty good shape, didn't even need the fireplace! But no internet or cable for a few days. I actually got a ton of housework done that I've been ignoring for a long long time. ;D

Yes, the winter weather sucks. We got 4 inches of snow this morning...just enough to make driving a total pain in the ass!
