Each year, it must be made mandatory for these so-called Pros to undergo a full criminal records check!
Those with a record should be banned from receiving a Pro card!
And Chick, it is also time to implement 'finger printing'; which can also be run through the relevant data bases!
Time to clean the sport up!
After all, it is allegedly a Professional industry.
-
bob werent u a security guard or something before becoming afamous bodybuilder?
u should listen to hank...
-
Chick, at your next so-called Athlete's Rep forum, bring up this idea!
I imagine the 'athletes' will welcome this with open arms!
Yes, any proposal that would help make this so-called Professional industry more professional, surely can't be overlooked.

Bob said he was a sheriff, which I wouldn't take to heart, because he also said he didn't watch PJ Braun squat at Gold's.

It's almost 2009 in America, the most violent bloodthirsty country on the planet. Who gives a fuck about a criminal record? Nobody, that's who.

Oh, so there hasn't been any other criminals in professional sports? ::)
Nice try Hank.
-
The industry is already an abomination.
This can be only a good thing!
Scrutinizing the athlete's, bringing them into line, having standards and legitimate structures will go a long way to help rebuild an already discredited and reviled industry.
As with any other 'legitimate' employer, criminal records checks are mandatory! Pro Bodybuilding should be no different!
Time to grow some balls Chick, and do 'something' that will 'actually' help restore credibility to a sport that is generally perceived as a criminal adjunct!
-
Chick is supposed to be a pseudo-union guy in a sense, why would he push for Criminal Record Checks for the bodybuilders?
-
It is about perception!
Pro Bodybuilding enjoys 'negative' perception.
If Chick is as interested in 'growing the sport' as he purports, then mandating Criminal Records Checks, will only help to legitimize a sport that is seen to be corrupt and felonious!
Chick, it is about action and not talk!
The Pro Bodybuilding industry,as you know, is loathed and despised. It is time to bring about positive change!
Criminal and Finger Print Checking will go a long way in helping to restore credibility!
-
Yeah, because other professional sports seem to be really lagging due to the criminal activities of their participants... ::)
-
Hank,Chick is way too busy trying to get Milos his IFBB Pro card back now don't go confusing the issue with Police and Criminal checks.FFS and Milos was getting so close.Oh Well.
-
It is time for another sting by the DEA; Arnold Classic style!
Time to start issuing warrants.
Hey Victor, got any tips?!?
-
A Fish Rots from the Head.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :-\
-
Again let me say your Silence goes well noted Chick. :-\
-
Why does the sport attract so many dubious characters?
Yes, the industry is just rotten to the core.
Time to initiate some basic standards!
I call upon the industry to be clear and transparent.
The only way to begin cleaning up this drug circus, is to mandate 'criminal history checks' of all athletes!
Chick, you are a showman, interested in garnering attention. This could be a good project for you. It will bring bodybuilding to the mainstream; if carried out correctly!
Chick, time to start thinking left of field. If you really care about this sport, you will steal my idea, claim it as you own, and start working on a legitimate 'code of conduct' regime!
-
HAnk are you obsessed with chik's dick?
-
whats the point in a criminal check??? ok say a certain pro got arrested, conficted, did his time and paid his fees, then what? he paid the price for committing the crime. should that pro then not be allowed to make a living because of a past criminal conviction??
Now i understand background checks if it relates to the job at hand. for example a convicted child molester should not be working around children. whats the whole point in getting locked up and paying for ones crime if one is going to have to keep payiing the rest of their lives? its opinions like yours that are the reason for 75% of felons going back to crime... because they cant find a job after they get locked up!!! hopefully the democrats can clean this up. i say that unless your crime was violent or sexual in nature, that it should then be expunged after a certain amount of time.

Another great post from hammerin' hank! Convicted felons should not be allowed pro cards. ;D

Chick, are there any clear policies governing 'what is' and 'what isn't' acceptable in this sport?
Do you really believe that the IFBB's so-called 'code of conduct' for athletes is working?
I believe the issue has deep systemic problems..It is a cancer of sorts. Left to fester, it consumes the organism.
Chick, get off you HRT-butt and start a review of the 'code of conduct'.
Athletes who act in a way that discredit the sport, should be dealt with, by way off sanction and/or disbarred from attaining Pro status!
Chick, the felons within the organisation are a tumour, excise them!
-
Hank are you saying Blacksmith will never have an IFBB Pro card??? :-\

How many would be in the NFL?

How many would be in the NFL?
There's always peewee league.
-
at least all the nfl players can afford health care. every ifbb pro is a criminal.
-
What about boxers?
Lots of good sports are born from a working class ambition to make something of yourself, often by people who've had a rough start in life. See also: basketball players.

-
what a dumb idea ::)

Since all Professionals are users of illegal drugs, no athlete would be left to compete.

He's the greatest bodybuilder never to be Mr. Olympia. And I picture him giggling with malicious glee as he posts these playground taunts.
I find that fairly interesting.
