My mother is and has been neurotic for wrapping neatly..and made me learn young, and because she and my brother have horrific penmanship, my father made my cursive and type starting in junior high half hour each day the same sentence over and over again..because he was military he was a fricken hard ass, so I did what he said..so now I can wrap perfectly and have nice cursive writting (of course that got me to write notes and make money off my brother and his dumb friends to get them out of class and sign off on report cards)

Be conscious of the earth and use a grocery bag, tie it with some ribbon and slap a bow on it. Saves you money on those expensive gift bags too! And your "wrapping paper" can be used to hold all the discarded wrapping paper from other people who wasted earths precious resources on wrapping the holidays materialism!

Haha,last year I got my girl a set of golf clubs for 1 of her Christmas gifts{she always wanted them and we have a blast playing together :)}.man what a mess it was trying to wrap them.I went through 2 or 3 different types of wrapping paper.I even had a thread about it here somewhere!
...this year the gifts were alot easier to wrap.

If paper is giving you a hard time, ...you could go with a decorative gift box. Just slap a ribbon around it, and maybe glue a little ornament to the top and presto, ...you have a nicely wrapped present that is also environmentally conscious, cause the recipient and always re-use the box to keep things in.

All done,I was doing the wrapping at work and was rescued! it was actually a guy that did the wrapping.he learned to do it properly because his wife told him that if she had to do all the shopping he had to do all the wrapping :D

I used to know a guy who made the coolest looking packages. He made all his bows and decorations from scratch. Sometimes the package was cooler than the gift.

Yeah they always take 42nd and Minnesota but I've been telling them for years, "JUST TAKE A RIGHT AT THAT PHILLIPS BY MCDONALDS, TRUST ME!" LOL Some people just never learn, do they LOL!
It seems I can tell people what I want and I can learn what I want yet what they want from life more than anything is simply to remain stuck in their own little habits and remain comfortable in their own ways! Talk about a small world.the guy who wrapped my gift knew a friend of mine's girlfriend{I didn't know this}he told the girl that I bought my girlfriend a watch.
so outta the blue I get a call from my friend saying that I put pressure on him to go get a good gift :D
