Dana White on the "Fight For the Troops" Carnage where Cory Hill broke his leg in half, Yoshiyuki Yoshida was viciously knocked unconscious by Josh Koscheck and in the main event was wheeled out of the Octagon on a stretcher, Razak Al-Hussan had his elbow snapped because of an armbar, Brandon Wolff left with a major head knot that resulted from a barrage of knees and Jonathan Goulet had to be treated for head and knee injuries.

no doubt about it,but thats the beauty of being sanctioned.its like your free pass in case these things occur in the cage,on the flip side boxing has had deaths in its matches and thats a hell of lot more serious then a broken limb or 2 imo.any contact sport where you have trained and skilled athletes hitting eachother and trying to inflict damage to the opponant things like this happen sometimes. gymnast break limbs all the time and the media and people never say much, but since its mma they have a field day with it.even in football, guys are getting carried off the field on stretchers all the time and the media doesnt say crap,if anything they praise it and show the brutal hits on the highlight reel on the news sports section
