This way if a thread turns ugly on the positive board it can just be moved instead of being deleted. I know some pros who come here like Milos and Chick aren't afraid to sling mud so they would follow the threads even if they were moved. Anyone who wouldn't shouldn't be here to begin with.

It's fucking beyond gay, that a "positive" board is up and running in the first place. It's a place for schmoes and fragile ego posers to embrace and stroke each other.....

Hey if that's what people want so be it, I just think threads shouldn't get deleted all together just because one guy gets his feelings hurt a little bit. Just move it. If the guy is too much of a pussy to follow the thread than fuck him.

So on the negative board, would you delete all positive posts?
If a negative thread turns positive, would you move it? To what board?
I guess what I'm getting at here is the fact that contrast is necessary for interest. ;) Even too much positivity is boring, which is what I think Gordiano was implying. In order for discussions to be interesting, you must allow them to sway if the posters find it spontaneously necessary. We're talking about freedom here, and letting the people take things where they will.
We shouldn't have a negative board.
We should have a positive board, because compliments encourage productive "body-building."
Promote the pageant. ;)

It's a place to go and post without the flames or arguments, if you don't like it, don't post there, it's that simple.

It is, and that works out just fine until one of the douche-mods decides to "move" threads seemingly at random, or when Ron goes on the rag and stickys a meltdown "rules" post.

It's not everything goes on the G&O anymore either. You can't say a guy's wife is ugly or a guy is fat on here anymore. My problem is not with the positive board. It's necessary to have that to an extent I just don't want to see a thread get deleted just because someone actually questions something a pro has to say.

Moderators of the Gossip & Opinions board should be able to move threads, but not delete them. ;)
