Out of all the machines Arthur Jones made his pullover machine was the best in my opinion. It had a super range of motion and it took out the weak link out being the bicep when training back.
I have used that machine in many gyms through the years. The last time I found one at gym I was shocked to learn I could use the whole stack easily. What I didn't know is that he also made a ladies model with a lighter weight stack. Since I have seen one for a couple of years it looked exactly how I remember the old blue models. Just be careful you get the man's model and not the one with light weight stack. I see in the ad it says a 250lbs weight stack and I assume it's the real deal. Maybe someone out there could direct you.

Probably the best piece of equipment made for the lat's. The Nautilus I worked on, years ago, had an attached pull down bar overhead in front. From the pic, this one does not. Must be the original design. The idea was based on the Pre-Exhausted system. Exhasut the lat's with the strict pullovers and than grab the overhead bar and do curl grip pulldowns to work the lats even more with the assistance from the arms. The Nautilus patten three phased Cam design was the key. Good investment.

The gym I've been training at has a ton of this old Nautilus equipment in one room by itself, very old school feel to it. Found out quick though that most of it wasn't to my liking (maybe I'm spoiled?). Did like the side raise/overhead press combo. I just don't feel the transfer of weight is smooth like machines these days, but hey...weight is weight I guess.

Nautilus is quality stuff...even if the machine is old, they will work proper....
I prefer doing the hammer-strength (plate-load-version) which is very equal to the Nautilus-pullover. The only difference is, that you can work up to higher loads than with the 250 lbs stack....(with undergrip i could work up on the plateload-machine to 440 lbs for 10-12 reps)

cool thanks guys
