Cos its the "in thing" and its "cool"
fucking losers
-
calling them "losers" is a little strong i think, who cares what they're into, they're not forcing you to be into it.
-
I love the fact that no one says they do Judo or Boxing or Karate anymore. They all say i am an ultimate Fighter. LOL

How does one become a middle class college kid?
Does this mean they're C students? Does that make them middle class?
Do they come from a economically middle class family?

Back in the day they had UFC in Birmingham, Alabama, whole crowd was trailer park trash. Those were the days.

the the most ridiculous thing about some of these 180lb UFC fans is when they make these outrageous claims
"Mike Tyson would not stand a chance in the UFC, if it went to the ground, it would be over in seconds"
A guy like Tyson hits harder than any jui jitsu guy could ever imagine.

Are you implying that a 375 pound UFC fan lends more credibility to giving fight analysis?

Not under MMA rules. ;)
Tank would take the "boxer" to the ground.

Moron Man would be a better screen name. Fastest growing sport in the world and tickets for events average about $300-400 a pop, but it's "mostly white middle class kids" that are into it. Yeah, just like the NFL, only white middle class kids.

why is it so uncool to like watching mma around here?
i can understand being annoyed by the wannbes in their tapout shirts but what is wrong with watching it?

well i have watched the ufc since its early days. also the king of the cage and pancrase. ken shamrok was my favorite and i did some shows with dan severn. he was a nice guy but hated shamrock. i do wear my tapout shirts. i have been fighting since i was 7 yr old. i dont really bother with the organized sport stuff as my job sometimes gets rought and there are no rules so, everything i have studied has been to save my life. if it doesnt work then i just discard it. i do like watching the ufc. as do my friends. we range from 20s to mid 40s. i think mma is growing so fast that it has surpassed boxing at this point.honestly in a fight in the street most mma fighters can move their opponent at will, out strike them, choke them, just about have thier way with them. they can take a punch, and know what to expect(exept for weapons.) bottom line is its exiting to watch the ufc. you never know who is going to win and that has been proven over and over. there are new talented fighters making their way to the octogon and its getting better all the time.
and for those of you who DO like the tappout shirts....mine are xxl and xxxl. you have to special order the xxxl online but they are not just for the skinny guys!!! :)

he didn't last too long against Vitor belfort.
Tank does well against people who are intimidated by him.
Once he goes up against someone who will go head to head with him the facade falls apart along with his conditioning
-
fuck ufc
it is all about Pancrase and ZST
only white trash watches UFC
