Okay well i believe dexter is a great mr olympia, the best since 05. and certainly better than cutler and deserving of beating him. (dexter should have placed much better than he has in several mr olympias)
however, did he deserve the olympia this year , was he the best body on stage ?

Phil looks like Dennis James when he stands alone. Put Phil next to a wide guy like Vic doing back shots.
They're going to give it to him for 5-6 yrs...so there should be concern for his fans. AMI wants a poster boy for Marketing. If you dont think so....then you are in Dreamland.
He wont win it in 09. Vic is better...but they can justify Dex or Jay knocking off Vic with Phil 3rd behind those two to establish that Phil just edges Vic but isnt as good as the two vets yet.
Phil Heath MrO 2010-2015 or 2016. Should do wonders for his bank acct and his personal schmoe LiftStudios.

we've seen this before. vic playing catchup after an injury. Arnold will give a sign of where he stands at the moment.

of course. however, didnt vic train upper body throughout his injury ? i think uperr vs upper its fair comparison. but yes we'll see at the A classic

thats a bit unfair there....Victor just came back from an injury...yes sure he did train his upper body but without his Leg it was hard to train as he used to.
and phil is a couple of days after the Olympia and fully carbed up.

you believe a leg injury will effect upper body trainig to the level that it would have a noticeabe effect on muscle size?

I thought Dexter was better at the '08 Arnold than at the Olympia. Phil could have won the Olympia and it wouldn't have been any more controversial than Dex winning.

Yes, i believe leg training is essential for uper body mass...

I think Phil should have won the Olympia in 2008 and I am sure he will display the best physique at the Olympia in 2009 but I am not sure if they will give it for him or not :-\
If Phil really would do anything to win the Olympia this year, I think he had better join Muscletech team ;D
