What's up Get Big! Just thought I would make my first post with a couple pics. I've been scanning the board for a while and know how harsh some can be, lol. Please critique. I am open minded and know it's always gonna be a work in progress.
I'm around 215-211 in these pics.
I am drug free 100%, as you can tell,ha. No steroids, hormones ever. (Don't have anything against them either.)

What type of training routine/theory have you followed?

To make it short I just lift as heavy as I can. I do bench,deads and squats. I've been lifting for 9 years, somewhat bodybuilding for 3,if that makes sense. (still learning diet) I've learned that tanning/lighting makes a huge difference, darker the better. Only go for maxes on high carb days earlier in the week, If a bodypart is up to par I will ditch it for a couple weeks and focus on weak areas, and let the mirror tell me the truth don't let the scale lie, my theories. :)

Thanks bro! I plan on trying to do a show in late summer. A natural show, but who knows who is natural on stage anymore,ha. I'm just looking for a fair shot at it you know. Dieting is beyond the toughest thing, but I'm sure you know that. I haven't been able to get under 12% for sh*t. Love handles are hard to get rid of for sure.

Your bed sheets revealed your true colours on the internets.

Love handles from the front aren't a problem, but just make sure to keep the top of your briefs/trunks tucked just under the handles. It'll make the handles seem like the bottom of your waist as opposed to being actual love handles. Little illusion that worked for an unknown BB called Arnold something... ;) Your waist is naturally much smaller than your hips, so there'll always be that difference there, I wouldn't worry about it. The tiny waist will offset it.
For competition, dieting is 100% key. You look to be about 15-17% bf in the pics, which is pretty good. There are alot of competitors on here that know alot about dieting for a show. Have a look round and you'll find some good information.

15-17% is probably where i am. I have been measuring my waist and putting in the numbers for an estimate, but have never been officially tested.

I will try my best in the next few months. I may try some creatine this year to keep my fullness as much as possible, thanks. I will keep pics up for progress reference month to month. No vids though cause my strength is already declining :P

Thanks bro. There was an older guy in the YMCA,rip to cancer now, that always told me stick with the basics and I can't go wrong. He was like 60 and still doing 350 on the bench, no joke. Very informative and good guy. He was Italian and reminded me of a Saprano guy ha. Anyway I'm just rambling, thanks though

eg watch bfto 05 i thind with craig richardson four plates on the smith didnt even go half way down and it looked like it was killing him.. dont downplay that lift man ..

Thanks bro. I wouldn't dare try it now though. Bodyweight was bout 215-218 there coming off a long cheatful weekend ha. Bout 210 now and it's amazing how much a few little pounds can hinder your lifts.
I'm really impressed by the 150-160 pnd dbell presses though at your body percentage that is great! People naturally that strong don't come around very often lol

Sure thing big guy. Not sure how this muscle will hold up though? Im gonna drop to about 202 to rid some more fat then go back up with some creatine and a few more solid meals each day. Thanks for droppin' in swordsman 8)

I'm trying to do the same... I'm around 245-250 right now and trying to drop down under 230 and build back up with quality..
You look very mesomorphic; usually guys like us hold mass very well as long as the protein intake remains under 200g; whatever it takes but solid meals 4-6 times a day will make all the difference. keep the carbs low and the meals steady.

Shit man you should have no problem. You can see abs now so I know when you hit 230 you'll need a doctor to remove the grin off your face. ;D
Yea I'ma try to be real punctual on gettin to 202 with steady meals and keep my fingers crossed on holding the mass. But it can be rebuilt with hard work if I screw up. Learning the body is tricky business for sure or else everyone competing would have a Sandow.
