I worked for the FDA several years ago.  Those letters go out all the time.  You would be amazed at the number of "household" brands that cut corners, mislabel, and mislead consumers.  Companies that sell fruit juices are the biggest offenders.

From what I heard it's actually cheaper for a company like Coke to pay the fines then to change labels & claims.
