After further analysis we can see that bob is still shorter then the girl even though he is standing on the brick steps that lay just before the sliding door.

Exactly. They cut out the part where he whispers "Hair-plug" when he dies.

It was later changed to "Rosebud" and they decided to have Charles Foster Kane say it.
