January 1st 2009 and since Xmas day I have not had any junk food...just clean foods every day. And its been easy for me.
Ive noticed Ive gotten leaner, my waist has shrunk, my face has gotten super clear, and I have better workouts.
My goal is to go the whole year with no junk food...can it be done?
Today is Friday January 9th...and no junk food yet. No cravings either.
3 omega eggs and 4 oz chicken breast w/ 2 slices of ezekiel bread
50g whey isolate 3/4 cup oats 1 cup blueberries 1tbsp mac nut oil
9 oz chicken 1 cup brown rice pasta w/ marinara sauce 1 cup green beans w/ 1/3 cup almonds
workout
1 scoop waxy maize w/ aminos...half hour after 50g whey isolate
8 oz lean beef 1 cup brown rice 1 cup green beans
50g whey isolate 2tbsp natty pb

yeah i think so
maybe you can have a treat with something healthier like strawberrys or watermelon or apple pie once in a while

Good luck Gene. I went 8 months before and had great results but that has been awhile. Now healthy for me is a bag of baked lays.

you don't have to eat it everyday or even week...but to go a whole year without?!

i enjoy some fruit each day...good idea bluto 8)

today went good
same diet as yesterday only cuz i didint work out i substituted the waxy maize for just a shake and almonds
i was craving some gumbo and brisket today...but thats cuz i was hungry and watching a ronnie coleman video where he goes to a barbeque and has brisket

i think you should incorporate a "refeed" day every week or two... that will help keep ya sane if you start having trouble ... it could be clean food...just eat alot more than usual..or it could be "junk food"...

Agreed. I find that it really helps me mentally when dieting & such.

ONLY CHANGE WAS NO RED MEAT TODAY...HAD CHICKEN INSTEAD

I went 2 years no pizza no junk. You just get used to it. I think you can do it.
My mother in law lived with us and would always criticize the way we ate, so sort out of spite, I ate super clean. No cake, no pizza. The more she offered the more I did NOT want it.
Before you knew it 2 years went by.

ill cheat every now and then...sometimes once a weeks-soetimes every 2-3 weeks

well we all cheat sometimes. we just have to get back up and climb the stair master. haha
