Koklyaev will be stronger than Savickas in a few years time - one of the best prospects in strongman IMO.

Cmon wes, 800 pounds that deep is VERY impressive, regardless of whether someone squatted more.

Sure it`s impessive, but done a long long time ago, which makes it less impressive.

Still gets big props though.

Coleman was suited,
And his squats were nowhere near that DEEP.

Alot of guys don;t realise the extra strength required to go that deep.

Force a fat powerlifter to go deep like that, it would be all over.

Just because Don Reinhoudt set his records in the seventies doesn't mean that they'e not impressive.

That was incredible.  Look at what passes as a legal powerlifting squat on the various videos out there and compare it to the video in this thread. Like someone else posted, every inch lower makes a huge difference on the amount of true strength it takes to squat.  Try it yourself.  Squat 315 to legal power lifting depth. That's less than a half squat no matter what anyone says.  Then use a high bar true shoulder width stance and lower yourself until you can't get any deeper. (ass to calf) That's how olympic lifters squat.
