If somone is going for a 1 rep max of 315lbs on the bench press.
How much weight do you think they should be lifting for 8 reps in the dumbell shoulder press and overhead triceps extension.

I think it varies quite a bit from person to person. Some guys are more shoulder/tri oriented for bench. I've got a friend who can bench 400 but his tricep lifts are terrible. Huge shoulders and chest that over-compensate. I don't think there is really an exact number to your question.

i agree but if i had to say based on what i've seen over the years it would be probably 90 pound db's on shoulder presses and maybe a 105-110 pound bell on overhead tri extensions.

I would say, generally your strict OHP strength is 2/3 of your flat bench.
