Title: does having the best knowledge in bodybuilding mean

that you will have the best physique?
about nutrition, training, drugs, etc.

or will the "gurus" of today take care of that and the bodybuilder simply has to be an "experiment"

Guys that dont even look like they workout, calling themselves gurus is pathetic.

Pros should be on their own, thats why they are "pros", they are supposed to "know" their bodies.

Yes a coach or a training partner, to spot on some exersices is ok. but a "guru", please.

There are many exeptions though like charles glass.

I agree, like Dorian Yates did all on his own

charles glass is a great trainer not "guru"
