Post by: njflex on January 17, 2009, 02:00:56 PM: i 've been a fan since my teens ,and have seen last 4 tours.had groundbreaking sound and recorded one of the best american sounding albums of all time by a non american group joshua tree,after cementing there legacy there and not sitting back like most bands ,they completely do a 180 and record yet again a true classic in actung baby and then set out on a massive never been seen or duplicated even by todays standard the greatest rock and roll spectacle seen the zoo tv tour ,popmart was bit overdone and the music got lost a bit by the yet again another outdoor tour deforce,but ya gotta love a group that comes out of a giant disco ball with a lemon cover lol,,,elevation and vertigo tours were musically awesome and stripped down stage was quite a breath of fresh air from outdoor shows.flame as u will they are true legends in music.
