One week to go before prejudging begins for the 2009 Ironman Pro men’s bodybuilding contest, and I am excited. The lineup has gotten stronger, with both Troy Alves and Johnnie Jackson electing to compete here in Los Angeles, at the Los Angeles Convention center. I will be there, taking pictures for bb.com, as well as Isaac Hinds, and trying to get the most interesting pictures we can, as well as perhaps some zany videos.
Both Troy Alves and Johnnie Jackson entered on the last day of the deadline, as well as Tamer El-Guindy who was seen training at Gold’s Gym North Hollywood earlier this week, and and Omar Deckard (who entered around January 15th), With that, we have 27 IFBB pros that should be competing, which are
Eddie Abbew (England)
Troy Alves (USA)
Oliver Adzievski (Sweden)
Mohammad Bannout (Lebanon)
Thomas Bengali (Italy)
AD Cherry (USA)
Omar Deckard (USA)
Constantinos Demetriou (Australia)
Mark Dugdale (USA)
Tamer El-Guindy (Egypt)
Moe El Moussawi (New Zealand)
Oleg Emelyanov (Russia)
Aiman Faour (Lebanon)
DeShaun Grimez (USA)
Ahmad Haidar (Lebanon)
Marcus Haley (USA)
Johnnie Jackson (USA)
Martin Kjellstrom (Sweden)
Marc LaVoie (Canada)
Don Long (USA)
Daron Lytle (USA)
Caesar Mendible (Venezuela)
Evgeny Mishin (Russia)
Ronny Rockel (Germany)
Silvio Samuel (Spain)
Daniele Seccarecci (Italy)
Hidetada Yamagishi (Japan)
I am working on my top five or even top ten predictions

Every year, JOJ does the Ironman
Every year, JOJ shows up smooth at that show (some time worst than the others)
I'll predict 9th place for him !
-
When did Tamer El-Guindy earn his pro card?
-
Woooow some new Arab bodybuilders are doing the show. ;D
I wish to see great Arab physiques :D

I want to see Troy Alves win.
