I'm actually digging having a house to myself.
It's good to have a nice bachelor pad when my 'friends' come to visit. ;)

That was my thinking when I went to the store. I admit that 46" is 'big' and I've always considered those types of TVs to be for people who were trying to be ghetto or trailer park fabulous. So, I've got a mental block against the 52", even though it would be a great set for my viewing room for not that much more money.

You're right, but now I've gotta put this bitch back in the box to return it.

Get a Sony Bravia XBR.

LOL
I would've gotten one or two from there just to help the brothas (aka Circuit City's creditors) out, but the pricing just wasn't competitive enough.
And then I decided to get only one TV, so that I can put the rest towards a kick-ass video game setup. ;D

Wow. What did that run you? Can you provide me with a link of where I can look at some nice projectors?
-
To run all top quality stuff around 20k but it's worth every penny.Start with the Epson site.Remember go with High end stuff that way you won't have many problems and you won't have to upgrade for years. The best part is building it all from scratch.

I rented a house at the Olympia that had a 100" screen (wall), but while it was 'cool' to watch a football game where the players were almost life-sized, I greatly prefer the clarity and color of LCD over projection.

First things first, don't get a 120hz tv. Everything looks like its in fast forward. Trust me, tv's aren't made to be 120 hz, stick to 60hz.
On a side note, 1100 is what you should be paying for a tv of that size, I will find you some links.
