Title: Anyone else think the inauguration is perfect for a terrorist attack?
Post by: TrapsMcLats on January 20, 2009, 08:07:07 AM: No, not to go after Obama, but for a suitcase/dirty nuke or a biological weapon? millions of people crammed into a few square miles? If i was a dirty, angry, ass crack filled with sand, member of al qaeda, this would look too good to be true.

I would think it's a nightmare target.

Almost zero chance of success.

There is so much security in place so it would be very difficult to do anything.

I think regular sports events are much more probable targets, or even shopping malls or theme parks at weekends.

You know, crowded places.

It would have to done so no ties to the terrorists could be found. Even if u got guys here, they couldn't be muslim. It would be impossible today.
