Which wrestling move do you see performed and think to yourself, "That would not hurt at all."
My No.1 has got to be the 'Catapult'.

Stone Cold Stunner. Complete make believe.

I don't know, it could give you a nasty whiplash!
-
When he became the Hawaiian Crush. That whole head vice thing to me was a drag.
-
abdominal stretch old school...
-
The Iron Claw
The Stomach Claw
-
The Peoples Elbow is got to be the lamest (although I love the way they sell it) or Hogans legdrop.

I don't know about that? When he was young and over 300#. I wouldn't want him jumping on my head.

crippler cross face doesnt work , also see figure four leg lock , very dumb
Benoit's son would disagree. :o

Damn. What about HHH'S finisher?
-
Rake to the back. Amazingly this one isn't even performed anymore. ;D

Have you ever had either of these moves applied to you?
-
undertaker's Tombstone..
The worst..
its not even a pile driver..
Jim Rose sells it like if the head actually hit the mat which you can see it never does ::)
-
the rear chin lock.
for the simple fact that after 30 sec in an MMA match someone placed in an "rear chin lock" ( aka rear naked choke ) either passes out or taps out.
but in wrestling this hold can be placed on someone for 5 minutes at a time multiple times during a match with no effects.
its stupid and wrestlers should stop using it.
-
hogan did that.lol...
Of course he did. ;D
He had 6 moves:
Punch
Kick
Rake to back
Pointing at opponents
Body Slam
Leg Drop

Actually the wrestling equivalent to the RNC is the sleeper hold. Still, you have a valid point...how many times have we seen people in wrestling get out of it?

TRUE,because every wrestler he faced did'nt trust him with any other holds or moves,he suplexed once in a while.
-
Leg drop was by far the worst. But i also dont like the sharp shooter...while its taking all day to be applied...just punch the guy in the nose...
-
anything done by John Cena
-

True, he weighed 300, but since you only got his calf across your chest it was like a child playing "Hop on Pop"
Some jobber named Abe Jacobs used a "kiwi leg roll" that never worked.
-
The bear hug. Useless excuse to stand around not doing much. Might be OK when used by the really big guys, like Mark Henry, looks stupid when JBL does it to Shawn Michaels.
-
I could be the worst, but it could be the best. I can't decide: Cousin Junior's "Mule Kick".
-
any type of slap to the chest (although flair was the shiznit at it) WOOOOOOOO!
that single armbar, twist, extra slow, over the shoulder, thingy they do while holding the wrist with the extra added in 2 inch jump in the air then wrench the arm on impact to make it understood. Lamest of all time.

I know what you're saying, but I think the heart of the question is which moves are just completely lame...after all, some of the moves, if really done, would probably really hurt or injure (such as a power bomb or pile driver). But I just can't see trying to use an "abdomenal stretch" in a street fight.

lol,,, abdominal stretch that would be funny applying that to someone at a bar fight hahah,,,piledriver ur right when done with no discretion can f/u/up,,look at those backyard wrestling vids those kids piledrive on tables and are no way, shape,or form trained to perform those moves.

That one that MVP does is pure shit.
-
The body scissors on the mat as well. Rubbish!
-
The "spinning toe hold"
-
The claw and tornado punch by the texas tornado.
ha ha I agree. The claw was crap anyway it was done.
-
LUGERS TORTURE RACK GOT LAME AS YRS WENT ON,GUYS WOULD SUBMIT IN SECONDS WHEN APPLIED,AND HE USED TO REALLY SELL AND SQUEEZE THE HOLD EARLY ON.
-
funny ones on here. How about just the ole "irish whip" into the ropes? I know when I tried to whip my friends into the turnbuckle (corner of sofa) they would never co-operate. Lousy workers, that's why I never made it... :(
