Title: Injection spot and differences
Post by: Stacker21 on January 21, 2009, 08:20:04 PM
I know that in the ass the most popular and normal place but are the quads just as good, even bicep or chest?  I plan on doing all just wondering if the effect is changed any or if one is better then the other.?
thanks

Glutes are the best areas to inject because they have the highest absorption ratio, but really anywhere you have enough muscle is fine.

So are small doses in upper body areas really worth it.  Or is it just as good to mix up doses in different spots

Well you dont' want to be dumping 3cc's into say your biceps.  Smaller doses into smaller muscles.

No for sure, I was thinking 1/2 into each pec or bicep along with the 50 in glute.

Do you mean you would shoot one pec, take out and shoot the other with the same needle?

Once I use a needle, I trash it, does not sound to sanitary otherwise man??  ???

Evreyone has their favorite sites. I just got some 1" to start the pec shots, wish me luck, I am scared  :'(

I personally would stick with the standard medical spots for IM injections.  Yes there are lots of other spots that work, but these are the safest:

Glutes
Ventrogluteal "hip"
Quads
Shoulders

Safest and generally least painful areas to inject IM.

Ventrogluteal is the bomb (I learned that big word from busyb  ;D). This spot will hold a lot of oil, and painless almost every time.

That's one of my favorite spots now.  It takes a bit of practice to find it, but once you do it's awesome.

I like pecs.  Easy to reach and see what you're doing.  Pretty much painless for me everytime too.

Glutes and shoulders are fave. Quads less so.
4cc's possible to all spots.

Never done chest, but some people I know inject all over: lats, traps, calves, hams, arms, lower back.

The chest burned like a bitch for the first 30 min after that it was cool.  I was wondering about the calves, how is that working for you

You did? Wow, I feel kinda special  ;) I just passed it down from the late, great trab (RIP)

I have yet to still try this as I am afraid of hitting my hip bone. The video is someone administering the shot, I cant seem to get the right angle myself?? Whats the trick, would love to shoot there??  ???

are you two talking about "the bomb" or "ventrogluteal" ?

Look, heres the best way to find the spot I saw this and although I used a similar way to find mine, this one is even easier.

1. lie on your side on a bed
2. Keep your bottom leg straight and slowly bring your knee on your top leg forward
3. on the front of the hip area, you will see a raided knotty muscle spot

That is where you inject.

ive found that i get a really good pump irritation which causes a bit of swelling with injecting into smaller upper body muscles, but it could be just in my head, either way i like it

Yeah it's interesting how bioavailability is affected by injection site. The concentration of the gear also affects kinetics. From what I remember, high concentration gear in the glutes = best.  :D

it wont be that bad... i tried shooting quads for a few months when i first started... i stuglled through pain walkin and training... finally i just gave up.... my quads just dont hold gear..no matter how sterile, low dosed, low volume, low frequency...
