Living in LA you see these cars on a daily basis. Lambos, Ferrari's, Bentleys, Rolls, etc so no, I don't pay attention to them anymore.

yup..down wilshire in bev hills...i see bentleys like hondas
-
Fuck Yes. I become hypnotized
-
no personality to cars anymore, everycar looks like a big box these days, that's why so many people put huge rims on cars to make them stand out.
-
i would see a porsche or lambo maybe once every 3 weeks
-
I tend to think oddly of many people who drive luxury or sports cars. They are purely superficial, and represent a very poor investment. But, if it makes you happy...
-
generally over 40 as well.
i would rather drive an old car, with a big engine that goes fast

i always have a few nice cars, but since i was a kid i never bought new. i search for deals and buy something i can drive for a year or two without losing money; or even make a few bucks. i've seen friends lose literally hundreds of thousands of dollars on vehicles over the years.

I agree 1000%. Right now is a great time to pick up some killer deals on some cars. I'm finishing two up now. I get a little mod happy on my stuff.

Did you end up getting the Mustang?
-
The Ferrari is nice to look at, but I'd prefer the other one.
-
Vehicles don't register than much anymore. I might glance at what someone is driving and make a mental note if it's an old shitbox or a "low end" car, but beyond that I don't pay much attention. Just because someone is driving a lambo doesn't mean they can afford it, and just because someone is driving a toyota doesn't mean they can't.
-
I saw this 1.2 million dollar Bugatti parallel parked outside my work. WTF? So random, had trouble thinking it was real. :-\
-
what a waste of money, all it does is get you from point A to point B.

agreed

no, i want one that looks mint, but not numbers matching. my dogs not a pedigree, but he is amazing and unique. i want the same in a car. looks great, but doesn't need to win shows. there were a few people there selling cars that didn't qualify by the auction standards, and i've been in touch with them.
if i can't drive it without depreciating it, i don't want it.
-
Some cars look like works of art whether it be an old classic, muscle car, exotic, etc.
It's only a waste of money if you don't appreciate it.
-
Saw one of these yestereday, more than likely a replica.

Very few cars now are beautiful.
Lambos and Ferraris grab your attention because they do stand out from the average car, but they aren't beautiful.
Aston Martins (V8 Vantage, DB9 and Vanquish) look very nice and classy, and the Alfa Romeo 8C looks gorgeous.
Most other cars just seem a bit plain and bland, from an aesthetics point of view.

Nah,not anymore my garage is full of them.
-
Yes sometimes.
But unmodded, regular stock appearance
can often be quite boring.
I like unique cars.
-
of course,cars are great

I agree. Besides my everyday driver( Mercedes s55 AMG), I have a 2004 Lingenfelter Corvette which has been twin turbocharged and puts out about 700 horsepower and a restored 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Rather than worry if the Trans Am is perfectly authentic, I'm doing some resto-mods things to it. New style seats, Power steering, new gauges, and although the rebuilt 400 engine is much faster than the original, I'm thinking of dropping a LS-7 engine in it, which is the engine in the new Z-06 vette rated at about 550 horsepower.
-
You see that Corvette that sold for $1,050,00.00 today. Nice I think it was a 63 but not sure
-
where I work we sell these so its like any other car, before I was exposed to them every day ya I got excited but not now. I personally hate Porsche except for the cayenne.

Imaginary date with Rip :
I am trembling in my boots, I roll up to her place in my car, get out and have my 12 roses in one and and the other very sweaty in my pocket. As I walk up to the door I can't help but tremble, I ring the doorbell. She answers, oh ... my ... gosh GORGEOUS Shocked I can barely say a word, so I hand her my roses and we walk out the door to the car.
I open up the door for her and closes it very smoothly to not make her jump. I wipe off the sweat on my forehead and make my way to the drivers side. As we set off to the nicest restaurant I can find, we have some small talk about her day and how she is feeling. We arrive at the restaurant, we have a space reserved outdoors for our date. We sit down and the waiter comes over, I say get my the best bottle of wine you have waiter.
As we have a great dinner and even better conversation I cannot get over how beautiful she is. We finish up and head on out after a great dinner. As fitting, we goto the nicest jewelry store next. I reserve the whole store just for us. We go in and are greated by the front door man very nicely. I say pick anything out you want. She picks out a beautiful tennis bracelet and she puts it on. As we walk out I can only think of kissing her at the end of the night Huh
As I drive her back I am sweating again in my palms, what am I going to do, kiss her or will she turn her cheek. We arrive, oh my gosh, the moment is here. As I walk her to the door I decide I am going to go in for the kiss! She says good night and I face towards her with holding both her hands and give her a peck on her lips, the rest is for further dates and romantic moments we have to come. I can't wait to call her the next day, I am like a kid in a candy store, so excited!
