Issues order - GITMO to be closed within one year.
Obama promises to end all hamas re-arming, but vows to protect a Palestinian state.
Summoned his Defense dept to plan our exit from Iraq.
Dept of Justice is now in charge of prosecuting prisoners - not dept of defense.
Shuts down all CIA "black site prisons".
All Interrogations now must operate according to Army Field Manual.

ah, I'm just playing. Some of the imagery from this presidency was hilarious. Bush trying to explain programs and using words incorrectly - you could tell he didn't write them.
Cheney was the brain behind this presidency, and the US vision for everything foreign policy these last 8 years. He is a genius, the PNAC author, the man with a vision for american energy power. He succeeded in afghan, but not in iraq. he did what he thought was right, and never bullshat us.
But I think we all know when it was time for BIG decisions to be made, cheney got his way.
