don long shouldnt be allowed on stage ?
why, he looks better than alot of the other people who got up on that stage.
his body is deserving, and its what he wants to do.
you may not compete and use the drugs he does if you had his health conditions, but obviously its soemthing he likes to do. obviously its something he loves to do, since hes been doing it his entire adult life.
who are you to tell someone how to be most happy ?

Exactly. His kidneys failed due to his bodybuilding lifestyle and his sister donated hers. And now the irresponsible asshole is doing it all over again, when there are tons of people waiting for a donor who wouldn't abuse it like he is doing. Sadder thing is that he looks like death warmed over.

personally I think it is just a serious slap in the face to people who donate organs, franky I would be pissed if I was generous enough to give my organs to a stranger only to have them abuse the gift in a manner as frivolous as continuing competitive bodybuilding. I am not an organ donor, im just sayin :D there are plenty of people out there that could have used that kidney and would see it as a new lease on life, not a license to continue abusing drugs.

So is Jocelyn Pelletier's. There is no glory in getting 17th place in a contest like Ironman looking like shit while living on borrowed time and bodyparts. I'd understand if he was an up and comer who places low but has the possibility to improve his looks and placings with time. But Don is someone who is fading away and whose 5 minutes of fame in bodybuilding was over back in the 90s. His physique is not better than a 'lot' of pros - it's just that there are people who look just as bad or worse who don on thongs and hit poses onstage to compete with other obsolete unknowns like themselves.

CHick has stated (i think in the Chris Dimm topic) that all of the athlete's are getting a medical checkup. When they pass the test they are good to go. Don Long obviously passed the test.
