Title: Ronnie Coleman Competing in Germany This Year!
Post by: 240 is Back on January 26, 2009, 05:06:24 PM
PBW just reported that its looking like Ronnie will compete at the Germany Pro show after the Olympia. And Cormier is looking at a summer return. The question is, who is most likely to flake out :)

If he doesn't get that lat up to snuff the outcome will be the same as the Olympia for Ronnie.

If Ronnie wanted to come back to a show, it would be a good move to compete in Joe Weider's Pro World Cup, which will be in Berlin, Germany on October 3rd.  The overall prize money there is $100,000, the largest after the Olympia and the Arnold, and one week after the 2009 Olympia.

Hey, if he looks good, he may even compete in the Olympia and surprise people...

As for Chris Cormier, he was at the 2009 Ironman backstage, and it is going to be tough for Chris Cormier to make that comeback, unless he is seriously dedicated.

Got the cart before the horse, Ron.....the Pro World Cup is a week AFTER the Olympia

That's what he said.  He meant that if he looked good enough the week before the pro show, he could do the O, although I highly doubt it.

Coleman is probly more likely to compete this year if I had to bet.  Cormier says something different every time someone asks him.

What's the bet the $100,000 prize money turns into $15,000 prize money before Cormier or Coleman pull out

In this economy, wouldn't doubt it.

true.

competing again will only make him look ridiculous. He should have known when to stop to go down history as the best ever.

I promise you he'll look as bad as 2007 if not worse. :)

I've always thought Ronnie was just blowing hot air to keep his sponsors happy.

This time, who knows though... tough economic times... maybe it's time to come back for a check.  At the 07 Olympia, he could have won just as easily as he was 4th.

I'm hoping the Berlin show still goes ahead - considering going, especially if Ronnie's competing.

Well Ronnie isn't really like Shawn Ray.
I think the dude really loves competing.

or else, he wouldn't have entered the 2007 Olympia when it was clear he would not win

People shouldn't be encouraging Ronnie to compete again.  Hasn't he abused his body enough?
