so I am making about 4 racks of ribs for the superbowl I use a pretty spicy dry rub and was trying to find a sauce to go with it. saw a few blueberry chipolte recipes but not sure if I want something that sweet any suggestions? I can do a different recipe for each rack

Ive never made this before but have been wanting to for a while now
Spicey apple bbq sauce
1 bottle (14 ounces) of ketchup
1 cup apple cider
2 table spoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 and 1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke(doesnt say what flavor)
says to combine all ingredients into large saucepan and stir bring to boil over medium heat then reduce to low and let simmer until thick and richly flavored
If your rub is spicey then being offset by a sweeter sauce may be a good choice...I always hate making something for the first time when ppl are depending on the food like at a bbq or party but ive tried a few recipes from this book and they are pretty kick ass...tex mex tequila chicken, fajitas, steak rubs etc...also if you ever do beer can chicken i can give you some really kick ass recipes for those.

thanks I was thinking of something sweeter to offset the spicy flavor of the rub that looks good and shouldnt be too hard to make.
I hate doing new things for other people. any good mustard sauces you got would be good. thanks for the help
