Great guy. Should have been Mr O. Could represent the sport very well.

Couldn't agree more.  He was funny, easily can crossover into films and TV and was in shape that didn't make chicks gag.

How the fuck dexter is Mr.O or even Jay and not Gunter is beyond me.  Dexter is by far the worst Mr. O.

Who cares how Mr. O represents the sport. If you want bobybuilding to gain popularity, one might as well make Richard Simmons Mr. Olympia.

True.....i think the point i was making was more along the lines of, as far and personality goes, Gunter was one of the best.

Very nice guy, softly spoken, funny.....a good guy in a pretty seedy industry.

He would have been great for BB but would've had to have been in the last two years of shows in which the title was attainable. That and more forsight and support from Weider to the effect that he'd have been good for the "sport".
