Title: Experience with BSN's No Xplode
Post by: vic86 on January 30, 2009, 10:52:45 AM
getting good gains out of this, great pump, increase in strength, but i tend to train late in the evening and now im experiencing disturbance in my sleep, not able to sleep with comfort, do you think cutting down on other caffine beverages will fix it?? and i tend to take this 1 hour after a preworkout carb meal , taking this on an empty stomach causes me lot of restlessness.

be carefull taking too much.  Remember it's loaded with stimulants like caffeine and shit. eventually n a couple of weeks you won't feel it anymore so don't pull a schmoe and try taking more.  Not good.

It's good stuff but I'm thinking of laying off it for a while - I seem to becoming a bit immune to it's effects. It still works, but not to the extent when I first started using it.

I agree with davemd on this one...didnt really do much for me. I've tried MetRX Amped and also Superpump250 and liked those much better then the NoXplode

Ya pretty much most of them do.  I persoanlly think NO Xplode is a great product and I do have a pretty good tolerance to caffiene.

If this is a problem for your sleep, you can try Volumaize or another "in training" supplement that has the beta-alanine and such but does not contain caffeine.

Or you can do your own concoction by individual pills.  Beta Alanine, Arginine, Creatine, ect...before the workout.

Legal Gears Cold Fusion product doesn't have caffefine in it and it works better than NO explode IMO.  You can also get two bottles of the stuff for the price of one NO Explode bottle.  Fantastic Product.

How many scoops are you mixing up b4 you lift and how long are you giving yourself to ''settle down'' before going to sleep?

hey guys new to the board didnt see a new member forum but i take no xplode and have the same problems with it if i take it close to bed time.  I find if you take it around 6pm and get to the gym for 7 you feel the best effects from it and still able to get to sleep.  Try nyquil or some advil pm's helps me sleep.  but like anything dont take it habitually.

Vasocharge got hard as a rock, and we wound up returning it, the whole batch.   Nope, BSN's NoExplode still does the job, and quite well.  Muscletech's Nano Vaper also is selling and doing well.   There are a lot of NO2 Products out there, and if you feel you are gaining or getting the 'pump' you need, then by all means use it.  Still, correct about the caffeine boost to watch out for.

Yeah the Vaso had a bad batch of silica from what I understand.  I use it now, no worries since.

Blue Raspberry NOX is one of my faves. It's pretty much a staple for me now.

Hmmm. It occurs to me your question is quite similar to asking if all milks contain melamine, or all paints lead?

If you're refering to lesser quality paints, the type we've seen and heard so much about in the news recently, or adulterated milk products designed to trick you, ...then yes. This occurs because someone, ...either a manufacturer, or a consumer, has placed too much of an emphasis on quantity rather than quality. You can often pay a cheaper price, but if you're not receiving quality for the price you're paying, what value is it?

And if as in the case of melamine tainted milk, you experienced harmful effects to the body, it wasn't cheap was it?

Love the taste of NO XPLODE and it gives a great energy kick. I also like their new "during" supplement Volumaize product in terms of taste. Last year I heard NO XPLODE was coming in an RTD but that never happened. I also like Gaspari's SuperPump 250 (Blue Raspberry), Ultimate's adreNOline (during training), Redline Xtreme, and ABB's Speed Shot before training. Never tried LG Sciences pre-workout offering but maybe at the Arnold this year!

I like them both. NO-XPLODE tastes better. But, I give the slight edge (performance-wise) to Nano Vapor, because you can take it right before you train, instead of 45 minutes ahead of time. And, Nano Vapor kicks into gear QUICKLY. I take it in the locker room and before I finish my warm-up sets, I can feel it (the tinglies in the hands and foreheads). I don’t get that with NO-XPLODE for some reason.

when i tried taking some before a deadlift or squat workout i nearly passed out haha, it got my heartrate/bloodpressure too high for doing deads i felt lightheaded and nearly blacked out.

Try Superpump250 great shit!! Been on it straight for about 3 months still not immune to the affects and never had a problem sleeping - and NO jitters like I got with NO Explode. Liked NO Explode but Superpump250 is way better.

No Explode is great.  gets you focused, and pumped.   Sometimes I will drink it during the day just to keep focused on work.  Also if you drink it, make sure you its fresh.  I have noticed that if I make it and let it sit bottled in my fridge for a few hours, it seems to not work as well or at all.  Drink it fresh!

Great kick of energy. I use N.O. product as Gaspari say, one day yes one day no, he explains why perfectly. Of course, cicle off is important I think.
Ah, amazing help in low carb diet!
