This must've been late in his career. When I first started watching as a kid, the wrestlers didn't come to the ring to music. The first guys I remember doing so were in the Von Erich promotion. Kerry used to come out to "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent, and, The Freebirds, of course, came out to "Freebird."
Oh yeah, this won't disappoint

I have always preferred when wrestlers came out to "real" songs...I saw an interview with the Warriors where they said they had to quit using Iron Man (best ever) because Ozzy wanted $10k royalties each time they used it, or some such nonsense.
Favs from that era:
Flair- Theme to 2001...continued to use it when everybody else started using the canned stuff....whooooo !!!!! Also used by Elvis.
Warriors- Iron Man
Midnight Express- theme from the movie Midnight Express
Dr. Death Steve Williams - Cocaine by Clapton
Kerry Von Erich- Modern Day Warrior by Rush
Jimmy Valiant- Boy from New York City by The Manhattan Transfer
Dusty/Midnight Rider- Midnight Rider by Allman Brothers
I'll try to remember some others...

Original Kane
HHH-MY TIME
Ahmed Johnson

Charles Wright[2] (born May 16, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada)[1] is an American businessman and retired professional wrestler. He is probably best known for his time spent with the World Wrestling Federation throughout the 1990s and early 2000s under the ring names Papa Shango, Kama, Kama Mustafa, The Godfather and The Goodfather.[1] He also went to college at the University of Nevada where he played football.
After leaving the wrestling business he moved to Las Vegas, where he manages a number of strip clubs.[3]

I just want to know who has the best theme music ever in wrestling.
-
I liked the Goldberg theme song but couldn't find it on Itunes.
-
This is one of my favorites performed live by the band.
-
Ric Flair's 2001 number one followed closely by Iron Man for the Road Warriors. I always wondered how there version didn't have the "I am Iron Man" at the beginning like all the rest.

Both great choices. The fit the personas of the wrestlers, perfectly.
Of the current wrestlers, I like Madison Rayne's theme music. It's very powerful and dramatic. Then again, I like pretty much everything about Madison Rayne.

Can't believe Real American isn't on the list yet.
-
The Wolfpac them track!!
Steiner's ambulance siren with a beat.
-
another good tag-team theme song I almost forgot about. Can'r remember if it's NWA or WCW but this song rocks I thought back in the late 80's early 90's

I always loved Metallica's "Enter Sandman" that they used for Jim Fullington in ECW.
Strangely enough, I was never much of a metal fan...or a Sandman fan (sorry, Jim), but I always loved that damn entrance.
-
Rob Van Dam ECW remix of PANTERA'S WALK.
I think was a good metal entrance.
-
Demolition's track by Rick Derringer back in the late eighties was good too.
-
The Fabulous Freebirds - Bad Street, USA

That was cool, but preferred when they entered to "Freebird" by Skynyrd.
On a related note "Tom Sawyer" for Kerry Von Erich deserves a mention.
