I grew up around teachers and professors, all of my family are somehow involved in teaching or lecturing...

So they are of course a little bit like him :) not that extreme of course but a little bit...

:) I don't think I'm smart enough to be called an academic (can you say that?) but I love to be around them :)

The trouble with academics is because they have expertise in one area they think they are smart in every area.  The smarter they are, the worse this phenomenon. :-\
