So i'm reading an issue of M&F in the bathroom (it keeps me motivated so don't hate) and in it there is an interview with Chris Angel the mindfreak guy. He claims years ago he was benching 350 pounds while weighing 167 pounds and standing 6 feet tall. I'm wondering if it is possible to have enough muscle mass on a 6 foot frame to bench 350 while only weighing 167, assuming that person doesn't have complete twink legs? Enlighten me board.

With that emotwinky physique he'd need real magic to make that lift.

Yeah obviously i don't believe his claim. I'm just wondering if it is even possible for anyone at that height and weight.

if these guys are gonna make something up why not really go for it and claim 500-600. ::)

To be fair at 6 foot with admitedly small legs my mate can bench 308lbs at 154lbs. Im sure its possible

Sometimes you are more than a little gullible.
But at least you give everyone the benefit of a doubt. 8)
Regarding Criss Angel.... BULLSHIT.
I've seen a few strong guys, even strong guys who look like pencil necks.
But none who bench 350 @ 167 while being 6 feet.
I'm sure it is possible to do.
But that would require not only raw talent like a Dennis Cieri.
But also that the guy would train consistent instead of being an emotwink. :-*

My mate does train consistently and i have posted a pic of him before. He can do 308 with longer arms than mine. His arm span is like 6'6 (very good deadlifter)
I am sure that a handful of people can do something similar. Its very rare but i am sure it can be done.

You were 230 last week....

Apparently I only look 180 so I'm gonna roll with that :)

I'd be happy if this summer I was 6 foot, 167, with a 300 pound bench. Unfortunately right now i'm 5-10 pounds short on the bench and 20 pounds high on the weight so i doubt i make it :-\

his claims like his magic tricks are fake
