I still think he is a relatively boring fighter to watch- but I admit I was wrong about his skill. Holy fucking shit- He absolutely dominated Silva- That KO was masterful, and part of a trio of knock downs-
Mindspin- You were right bro. He is a top contender.
-
choot knocked silva the fuck out lol
-
did everyone see that!!!! the guy catches alot of slack for not being exciting but he wins fights. the guy is no joke. i truely believe he would beat rashad
-
he deserves a title shot
-
i agree. he deserves a title shot. i will say it till he gets one. i think he would take it to rashad and i hope he gets to
-
Forgot to change your gimmick.

Ive been saying that this guy will be champ and a dominate one.
-
That guy is awesome
-
Gotta love how Silva wanted Machida on the ground, and that was his downfall in the end. 8) Expecting Machida to jump on him and clinch, Machida manages to superman punch him from above. Brilliant fight! :o

The Dragon Machida makes everyone look bad!
Great fighter with an impressive set of skills, very good at countering and capitalizing on the opponents mistakes, patiently waiting for that calculated opening.

Yeah.
Silva looked like a moron in that fight.
Against really agressive fighters Machida can look good, i just hope his next fights will be as good as this.

Its a real shame he is so boring to watch but yeah, he deserves a title show and i think he will win. He can beat Anderson Silva for sure (and thats a reason why i think this fight will last forever to happen)
-
Ehh- I dont know about that. If I'm not mistaken he trains with Anderson so I dont think they'd get in the Octagon together. Also, I think Silva wants to stay at 185 while Machida is a natural 205. I agree it would be a dope fight, but I think Machida wants some respect in his own weight class and doesnt really have any desire to fight Anderson. I want to see Machida throw down against guys like Rashad, Rampage, Lidell and even guys like Dan Henderson.

I think Hendo would hurt Machida...You have to wonder ?? What can Machida do to stop Hendo? Submit him> I doubt it? Knock him out? I doubt that...Run and punch for 3 rds.and not get hit once? I doubt that... I would love to see that fight!

The Dragon is great at countering, capitalizing on his opponents mistake and messing up his opponents gameplan.
Machida enjoys fighting aggressive opponents that try to come to him, letting him set up some nice combos.
He is also good at mind-games, demoralizing the adversary and putting them off balance, enforcing his game on them.

nice leg sweeps..

Busted. lol :D
Machida is a bad man. So what if the hillbilly fan base thinks he's "boring". The goal in fighting is to maximize the damage inflicted and minimize the damage absorbed.

See the thingg is ...He's fast as shit ...His timing is spot on...He sees his opponent moving ,and he reacts! Most of them don't stand a chance ..It's like he sees them coming a mile away?
