More than 2 years ago, one of bodybuilding's most popular champions walked off the competitive stage for the final time. This week on "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly", Gunter Schlierkamp returns to discuss a memorable career that included 8 Olympia appearances, countless magazine covers, and a landmark victory over Ronnie Coleman. Since his retirement, Gunter has appeared in movies and remains one of the sport's most enduring stars. This week, PBW welcomes back Gunter for his first visit to bodybuilding talk radio since 2005.

Yeah, he has made it big time in the movie biz. Has much more prestigious jobs nowadays than on Pro stage. ::)

A lot of guys talk about a comeback, but they do it because they NEED the attention. Levrone for the movie plugs, ronnie for the comeback potential that keeps him in demand. And many of those guys had injuries.

Gunter doesn't seem to need the money or attention, and he's not injured. And he was the guy who came in better than 300 pounds, and better than Ronnie at the 2002 SOS GNC.
