Crist said about the bill:
"This will will help with Education, healthcare, infrastructure, medicare
$13 billion to FL
People need jobs...its about jobs, jobs jobs.
basically, floridians, you will be getting your tax dollars back. Buiold school. Improve highways. Florida will get their fair share.
There is some junk in this package, yes. But I understand, there's a time we're all in need.
This man is a very good candidate for President in 2012. He'd have my vote, certainly. Is he right or wrong about the bailout?

Governors always find a way to justify spending by the federal government when they are on the receiving end
Just ask Sarah Palin

I hear he's considering running for Senate or another term as governor, whichever will help him most if he decides to run in 2012.

I forgot - she loves the bailout too. As will jindal, I'm sure.
Seems there's a good chance that the 2012 presidential challenger will have SUPPORTED the bailout publicly, and/or went with a handout to kiss obama's ass for some $.
It'll make it harder for them to offer a contrast with obama, because they had the same position on the biggest issue of his presidency. There's not "I told you so" that obama had with supporting iraq war.

if she's a real republican she will support the bail out now and deny that she supported it later
and her sheep will believe her

Almost 8% of Florida is out of work - by the old numbers.
When I look around - seriously, 1/3 of the people I know have either los their job, or their place is closing soon, or their hours were cut significantly.
This is one broke state - and one that has paid more in federal taxes than they're received, for a long time now. bail out Florida, baby!!
-
the pepple whow are right NEVER get elected, but the people who can, "sell" bullsheit get elected....obam sold the best BS in history.

AND NOTICE THE WORD HE DID NOT USE:
JOBS JOBS JOBS
-
??? Crist's exact quote is above. He did say "Jobs, jobs jobs".
-
I can't see how anyone can support the current bill without a major overhaul. Some spending may be ok but not the BS in this package. It seems there is so much pressure just to do something...thats not the best way to look at something objectively.

Please, all this is about is stopping what is needed to be done - cut spending, economize govt, cut duplicate services, etc.
This is like putting a bandaide over a bleeding artery.

Sign the petition (and write to your representitives): If you agree with no 1 trillion dollar bailout, or if you agree no bailout unless its cut to economic stimulus items only.
