I am thinking about buying an apple Ipod Touch. My question is can I get the internet on it so I can check my yahoo emails, getbit.com, etc?? I am not going to but the Iphone as I just renewed with verizon. Thanks Joe Leahy.

Yes but only through wifi, you cant obviously dialup from it and say use 3g like the iphone.

Buying an Ipod Touch is easily one of the better things I've done lately.
It's excellent as a mp3 player and the other features such as games and surfing the web provide endless entertainment for long trips etc.
It's basically an Iphone without being able to use it as a phone.
And did I mention it's very user-friendly? No bullshit or stupid gizmos it just works from the get-go.

How long does the battery charge last if you are listening to a mp3 and surfing the net?
I'm using my PDA phone for mp3's and web surfing but it eats up the battery like crazy

The battery lasts surprisingly long and if I remember to charge it every other day it presents no problem.

It last a good while. Just keep in plug in your car and home, when listening to music. The nice thing about the touch is that it will work work with ipod accessories, where the iphone doesn't always work :(

Okay. I was toying around with the idea of buying one. So far my PDA phone does what I need its just the damn battery burn that's an issue. I have to charge my phone once a day so I keep a spare battery in case I need it

is wireless internet hard to set up? I have zilch experience. Just walk into Sprint store, get a little wireless card, and plug in and use web anywhere for 1 monthly bill?

no problem, check CC, the where my friend got his for 10% off. Thanks President bush ;D
Anyway, I never used sprint. i have used cricket tho, they suck. But you just plug in a usb card, and "dial" into their system. Very easy.

AT&T Fuze. Has office mobile on it along with access, word, Power point and Adobe.
