No one could have predicted attacks where they flew planes into buildings
Actually, the Pentagon ran plenty of drills. Conicidentally, the pilot of the plane that hit the pentagon on 911, back in 1991, was actually photographed IN THE PENTAGON, with the model of a plane crash in pentagon, part of a drill they were running. They always ran drills like that on important targets. He worked in the pentagon and prepped for that exact drill. He was the pilot on that flight that AM, back to the pvt sector after a military career, oddly. Did you konw that? Condi was incredibly naive, or lying, when she said we never could have predicted that.

No one coudl have predicted the levees in New orleans would break.
No. The civil engineers did. many times.
Cheney, Today:
No one could have predicted this kind of economic problem would happen.
Actually, a lot of economists did.

Did you know that in 1927 after another hurricane, ...they actually blew up the levees on purpose, and flooded out families in the 9th ward who previously weren't in any danger? ::)
This was apparently the policy. If the levees were threatened, or they were fearful of a potentially eminent breach, ...they would blow it themselves, and steer the damage where they wanted it, ...into the 9th ward where the property values were lower. :'(

But that's ok, because all the 9th ward's residents are going to be living in the trailers for at least ten years afterwards anyhow...
