Other than one or two people, who defends GWB here?

The only thing I give him credit for is the WOT and Roberts and Alito.

Yes, good point about some of the republicans between 2001-2006. They could have done a lot more to further true conservatism...they failed. I wonder what Bush's presidency would have been like if we didn't enter Iraq.

The one thing I am not convinced of is his dislike of fiat money. If we stopped printing so much and were more responsible with spending, it would be harder for the dollar to collapse. I know he has good points about the evils of the federal reserve but I'm just not so sure the dollar will collapse if we were more responsible.
