Title: ok.. so if i eat 200g's protein a day, ill get more muscle than just 150g right?

hahahha what a crock of fucking bullshit. Ok so if i eat 2 more chicken breats per day, i will be bigger than from eating just 5 right? i cant get over how many of you are brainwashed. its a sad sight really.

The guy weighs about 140 lb and honestly looks like he's never lifted a weight in his life. blacks are different most white guys they stop training for a day or miss one meal and they can lose 15lbs of muscle

as far as big guys in jail well they do tons of resting and you grow when you rest

protein thou is about timing more than anything key is eat good before and after training

i think the human body is more effective than what most people think and you can achieve optimum results by consuming a little less than what is usually recommend for bodybuilders.

I would bet that you probably would get bigger. There are other factors of coursse, genetics, gear, calorie surplus, but yes, there's a strong possibility that you would get bigger.

I don't know, Show - Candi says that you should avoid brushing your teeth cause it easily adds around 6 - 8 Calories to your everyday intake, while Boonstack has revealed to me that you can't get fat from over eating carbs as long as they are 'complex carbs' like oatmeal. TBH, I'm a bit confused :-\

Most people just don't eat enough calories to grow at the rate they'd like. I like to think as protein as the bricks and calories as the builders/workmen/guys who whistle at ugly broads putting those bricks in the appropriate places.

dude, whether i weigh 120 lbs or 215, i still am a reasonable and logical person. I am no way doubting your sincerity to the sport you love, and i can genuinely respect you for that. I do.

But, its not like im making some radical statement and trying to prove some new theory.

All im saying is this:

Take a 240 lb guy - he is about 15% bodyfat. Average gym dude, whatever -- Well, what im saying is that: If he eats at least 180 or so grams a day, he will get just as good results as he did from eating 240.

180 grams is a TON OF PROTEIN!! If he eats 240 - ok so be it, but there are plenty of oafs who think if they eat 280-300 grams a day, they will get bigger.

to 200 gr/day is nowhere near being "Too much" protein.
Unless you weigh only 120 pounds.
This conversation MUST also include the number of Carbohydrates that you
are eating in conjunction to be valid.
Your understanding of this subject is diminutive at best.

I used to take in about 200g protein, 450g carbs, every day.  About 18 months ago, I decided to cut back and since then I've averaged about 120g protein, 350g carbs, and I've seen no difference in terms of weight gain, muscle size, etc.  So for me, all that extra food was providing no benefit.

studies are so far inconclusive in regards to exact optimum protein intake, however all agree that bodybuilders and strength athletes require much more than the RDA.

recomendations fall between 1-2.5g per kg. However studies show as you reach the 2.5g end your body starts using some protein for energy. The top end for maximum synthesis seems to be around 1.8-2g.

These recommendations are for naturals you understand.

So steroid users like yourself would be fine at the 2.5g+ range  8)

dude, whether i weigh 120 lbs or 215, i still am a reasonable and logical person. I am no way doubting your sincerity to the sport you love, and i can genuinely respect you for that. I do.

But, its not like im making some radical statement and trying to prove some new theory.

All im saying is this:

Take a 240 lb guy - he is about 15% bodyfat. Average gym dude, whatever -- Well, what im saying is that: If he eats at least 180 or so grams a day, he will get just as good results as he did from eating 240.

180 grams is a TON OF PROTEIN!! If he eats 240 - ok so be it, but there are plenty of oafs who think if they eat 280-300 grams a day, they will get bigger.

They think that way, because when they did increase their protein......THEY DID GET BIGGER (as was the case with me). Back in college, I had to increase my protein amount to 300+ grams, just to get my bodyweight tover 200 lbs.

180 grams of protein certain wouldn't have kept me at that weight, much less taken me to my current bodyweight of 243 (as of Monday). I'm usually at 180 grams of protein by lunchtime.

Thanks for the compliment. Heavyweight cut-off for that show was 198 lbs, I was 214.
I certainly don't claim to be anything special.  My message was a little on the strong side
because it needed to be.  For a BB to not understand the correlation between
protein intake & muscle hypertrophy is absurd. NOT BECAUSE I SAID SO, but because
probably 100% of the athletes that have been successful in developing muscle tissue all swear
by it. So "Boonstack" comes along and calls bullshit on the most basic concept in bodybuilding.
He also has nothing to back up what he is saying.

All that proves is that he’s able to, at the very least, find pretty girls with low self-esteem and pump them full of alcohol.  ;D

Of course, this begs the question of why he seems to find it so difficult to consume 200 grams of protein. As I said, you can get that from two regular meals and two protein shakes, quite easily. And it goes a little something like this:

Meal 1: 4 whole eggs, 16 oz milk, 2 slices of toast: 45-50 g protein
Meal 2: Mass XXX or MyoPlex Deluxe: 50-53 g protein
Meal 3: 6-8 oz beef/2 chicken breasts, 4 oz rice, 4 oz veggies: 40-50 g protein
Meal 4: Mass XXX or MyoPlex Deluxe: 50-53 g protein

By my count, that’s around 195-206 grams of protein…….and that’s by or slightly after noon.
