Title: Frustration regarding protein intake
Post by: calfzilla on February 10, 2009, 05:46:50 AM
I hate it when I go to my local fast food restaurant to get the newest item that is supposed to be spicy, but I get it and it's not anywhere near spicy.  The commercials show people with steam coming out of their ears, fire out of their mouth all the while running to down the nearest beverage to put out the burn.  But that is quite far from reality.

I'm thankful that I can get my daily requirement of protein and carbs in order to build a better body but when someting is advertised as spicy I would like it to be just that.

Totally agree!!!!

I hate this. What's even worse is if you go to a Thai or Indian restaurant, and they have this stupid rating, 1 to 4 peppers for mild to hot, and you order 4 peppers and the stuff is a 4 for pussy westerners.

If i order "spicy", i want it spicy. Almost impossible in the west.  :-\

I remember when I ate sushi with my friend and I told him the wasabi was just some random dull tasting veggie sauce, the look on his face when he almost ate all of it at once on a sushi bite was priceless hahaha.

Good ol times.

Yes Gene, that would be a perfect recent example.  It is not spicey at all.  But it's not just Burger King it's all of them, Taco Bell included.

go to a mexican food store and get some of that bright green habanero sauce and put it on everything you eat, that should be spicy enough for you.

indian food isn't very good, there is a big difference between middle eastern food and indian food, middle eatern food which i classify as Iranian, Afghan, Pakistani, Lebanese, Syrian food is some of the best tasting food on earth, Indian food is nothing like it because Indians don't eat beef.

if you're not used to the stuff then 4 is a challenge, I'm a pussy when it comes to spicy. Just bring yer own supply of Tabasco or Sambal, to spice it up.
