When I am cutting down for some summer abs, the weight really doesn't come off to get abs unless I cut my calories extremely low. Just wondering how low people go because I read in magazines about eating like 2,500 calories and getting abs. If i eat that much I won't get abs even if i'm doing a ton of cardio.

Not possible for me either. Of course I am nowhere near showing abs but when I was I tried 1000-1200 and mass cardio and lost a ton of muscle and never did see abs... :'(

I'm at like 1600, steadily losing weight and actually still gaining strength! 8)

There is an e-book called burn the fat feed the muscle. If you are serious about shreading the fat I highly recommend reading it. Google for it on bit torrent.

My biggest problem is I can eat healthy all week and be doing really well weight-wise then I go out drinking on the weekend and barely any better on Sunday. I'm able to lose the weight and get pretty cut, but i really restrict calories to do so. I'll try and find that book.

I shoot for around 2000 during the week, with some walking 3-4 times per week and sprinting 1-2 times per week. Weekends? Haha don't even want to know how high they are.

maybe it's better to be more balanced...say 2500 a day and no weekend highs

The pumps I get on a sunday night are crazy. It's going alright for me atm, but yeah I've gotta to clean up the weekends some more, I don't want to be dieting forever.
